Weekend Update: Schooooooooooools out. for. SUMMER.
A few ways to make our guest have an amazing experience.
Staying up front.
It's easy to get caught up in conversation or a task in the back, but we don't want guests to feel like they have to search for someone to help them. There should always be someone at the admission window, and when possible, the help desk window too.
Only eat in the office.
I know, I know, Amanda eats down here all the time, but she's going to work on that. Kelsie, Danielle, and Amanda will make sure that anyone working 5 hours or more gets 15-30 minute break to sit down in the office and enjoy their lunch. So please refrain from snacking in the guest service area. Thank you!
Being friendly and helpful.
This may seem obvious, but it's important to remember why we are here. Think of great customer service as being similar to throwing a party at your house. Assuming you are a good host, you would say hi to everyone when they came, made sure they had a great time, and said goodbye when they left.
Construction = Debris
There will be construction going on all summer long upstairs. This will create a lot of noise, and knock a lot of debris, dirt, and maybe even some nails or other small objects down from the ceiling. We need to make it a habit to walk around the facility in the morning and afternoon to clean up any messes created by the construction.
