NICC Annual Staff Kickoff
We helped NICC business and community solutions launch their year with a mix of inspiring space and innovative activities.
NICC’s business and community solutions division wanted to integrate an outside the box experience into their annual staff kickoff event. The event is an opportunity for the college’s leadership to share key initiatives for the upcoming year and get the more than 80 staff members from throughout the region together to share best practices and ideas.
In addition to hosting the event in our off-site Innovation Spaces, we integrated a variety of Team Innovation Challenges into the meeting schedule throughout the day. The variety of fun, hands-on challenges we facilitated not only aligned with and supported the annual meeting’s innovation theme and strengthened each staff member’s individual innovation capacity, they created time & space for regional staff to interact with each other in new and novel ways.
The combination of holding their meeting in an inspiring off-site space and breaking up the day with energizing innovation experiences resulted in a unique and engaging kickoff event. The planning team reported higher than usual levels of engagement and enthusiasm during the meeting.
